Relaxing place to walk around. The exhibits are interesting and some of them are interactive. The surrounding area has lots of greenery and great views of the lake.

The museum is a little smaller than ones in other states with interesting but standard displays of Australian history. Favourite parts being Farlap’s heart and the architecture of the museum itself. What really makes it shine is the high standard of visiting exhibitions that are shown. This trip we went to see the exhibit Song Lines. The depth and quality was breath taking and we spent over an hour contemplating the works. The cafe is expensive as expected but the parking is cheap and plentiful.

A great place to know the Australian History. Very bold of Australians to admit the historical facts even though they are negative
